Part l server guide by Ataturk

ok guys since you were having too many problems , there's the compilation of the server :

1. all maps.
2. 80% of mobs , 20% of items in quests are in english.
3. petcount fix.
4. 300% xp , Item drop increased .
5. Quest levels fixed ( 80% ).
6. Dog Race & Lottery Events On.
7. Clan Working.
8. Clan quests working.

ITS MADE to work on D:


inside the exe = a3server , and all dirs that should be on d:\ ( root )

if you change your drive you need to HEX the files ( at least Accountserver , mainserver and zoneserver ones ( change d:\ to c:\ ( or the drive you use )
inside loginserver.cfg change also to the drive you have your files )
YOU ONLY NEED TO CHANGE the 192.168.0.2 TO YOUR LAN IP OR YOUR WAN IP ( DO NOT TOUCH ON THE 127.0.0.1 ONES
Check also the paths where point to D: you change to the drive you want )

When restoring the DB ( if you change the drive you need to be caution and set the target dir to the correct one )



Just CHANGE all si26208$$ to your SA password ( its like the ADMIN password for sql ( YOU SET IT when you install the SQL for the 1st time )

you need SQL2000 + Service PACK 3 ( SQL service pack ), Case Sensitive Coallition

THE ODBCS you can set to Windows Authentication


Inside d:\a3server you have a manual

d:\a3server\Tools ( 4 files , Client patch ( english ones ) , A3GM-Tools ( its just a program to log into db and change the stats you want ( ITs BUGGED ) , Ull decoder ( BACK UP your files before doing anything )


NOTE:


if its your 1st time installing it ( you need to run the 1st time dir ( inside A3 Links dir ) to set up DBE , account dir and clan dir )

On the 1st 3 links ( AFTER RUNNING THE 1st time ) the links need to be started like 1st button , 2nd button , ( WHEN 3rd BUTTON APPEARS in BLACK you click on it ( ONLY GO to the next LINK AFTER SEEING THE GREEN LIGHT ( RUNNING )

Only after having the 3 links in GREEN you move to the next link

Clans:

( YOU DONT NEED TO USE Link4 - that MDWCLAN is for Webclan and its not working ) ( to the admin ones you can get item 806,807,808,809 ( grail , tig , red and blue handbook ( use the one of your country )

You need level 80 or higher , 30,000 lore , 1,000,000 Gold


Method 1: Fast



Example go to itemstorage and on your char do 806;0;1 ( log into your char then pick it , go back to sql and insert 808;0;1

( this is on itemstorage db , on the itemstorage of your char )

( example = 808= item code ;0 = id of code ; 1 = storage position ; )

Then go to the statue ( Pakistan (blue ) or 2nd map of red ), 2nd tab , you can create your clan , to add ppl to clan they need to ask your to join clan ( SHIFT CLICK - choose clan )


Method 2 = Slow do the quest with 3 mates

go to your character db and on CQUEST part , you change the 65355 to 1067 ( just the number not the 0 ( keep them )

when you enter on game you will have the quest 1067 running ( you need to get 1 heart from wolf 4 ( the girls ) and then deliver to the duel npc ( behind portal girl )

he will give you a tig and the handbook

with those 2 items you get +3 players with you ( level 80 or higher ) all party and go to the statue ( Pakistan = blue country ) click on it you will go to another map
in that map you have 10 min to find the entrance to the Treasure room, you need to kill someone to get the grail

then on the same statue , 2nd tab , you can create your clan , to add ppl to clan they need to ask your to join clan ( SHIFT CLICK - choose clan )

Install BDE ( you can find it on 1.20 server if you dont have it or search on the Internet
Use the Mkdir.exe inside the \ACCOUNT dir and \CLAN dir to make the directories ( 000-999 )

edit the tdb.ini inside 7770 , 8880 9990 to meet your login and password of your sql ( SA in this case )

edit on Accountserver dir :

In the Accountserver, Mainserver and Zoneserver replace all ips with "127.0.0.1" which is local system ip.

Creating an account
I have attached a tool that will help create a query in a3acc.txt.
Open Query Analyser and then login with your sa password
On the top in the dropdown select Character database
Just copy paste that a3acc.txt there and press F5.
Your account is created!

You need to backup databases. You need to create a database and use the backup file to restore it! I have attached the required files. Just go to query analyser and execute them!
